Recently I have been in a bind because with me working in a boutique, I have to look like I just stepped off the runway everyday. I am working 5 days a week, which means I have to have outfits galore picked out and ready to roll. Recently I have really really really gotten into the whole gladiator sandal look (a little late, gosh!). Not the ones that go all the way up your leg, just the ones that have about three straps. So, I find the perfect pair I absolutely LOVE and to my surprise, they are still FULL PRICE! It is almost August people! I feel they should be on sale by now! I just don't know if I can justify spending so much on a pair of sandals that I can really only wear for a couple more months. Especially since I just bought a Marc Jacobs purse last week. Any of my fashion savvy or bargainista friends out there ... what should I do? I have to have multiple shoes I can wear to work!

I totally agree that these shoes should be on sale! I would wait b/c summer is almost over and fall inventory should push these sweetpeas onto the sale rack! Working at a boutique sounds so fabulous!! Is it really as marvelous as it sounds or do you get tired of it?
i'm sure there are some out there on sale right now...but probably just not the ones you want. i, personally, love the j choos, and if i loved them i would buy them. but i'm crazy. perhaps keep looking and with august right around the corner, more and more stuff will be going on sale to make room for fall inventory. good luck!

While I love the 1st pair (seriously, way cute) I think I'd have to wait and not get them since they aren't on sale right now. If you are like me, you're going to find some fabo fall shoes that you can wear for a longer period, and that you love just as much.
My vote? Don't buy full price.
I saw the JC's awhile back, and loved them. I also like the first pair, but you're right we are going into August so they should be on sale. Next summer the gladiator look might not be "in." I say hold off because so many new fall things are coming in, and you might find a pair of fabulous boots/shoes that would definitely be worth the money. Good luck!:)
My stam is rather lonely and needs a friend. My solution to your problem would be to buy ME another MJ bag and then you won't have to worry about buying any shoes at all! Who needs shoes anyway? Jiffy mart feet are hot.
I completely agree that it is crazy that the sandals are still full price. They will probably go on sale soon and it will still be 85 degrees in Memphis at the end of September. (I think Labor Day should be the first weekend in October...for fashion purposes, of course).
