Wow! I am one lucky girl! Just when I put myself on a shopping budget I get an email from Neiman Marcus with my 100 dollar gift card! I totally forgot that a couple of months ago I bought an Alice & Olivia dress and a pair of shoes during a spend some, get some event.
You all will be happy to know that I am going to be a good girl and not spend above the 100 dollars that I have with the gift card. That leaves me with little options on neimans website. I am probably going to get some make-up ....
Has anyone every tried Clé de Peau beauty products? They are insanely expensive, but their concealer won the In Style "best concealer" award. I always have trouble with concealer blending in correctly, so I'd like to give the Cle de Peau concealer a try. I am really curious about this beauty line, so if you've tried it please let me know! Their "face cream" is 500 dollars for ONE ounce! That is outrageous! The concealer is 70 dollars alone ...
A perennial makeup artist favorite, Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer is highly editorialized and continues to win major awards year-after-year.
• Enhanced with Revitalizing Moisture Complex to lock in moisture and smooth out texture.
• Blends sublimely to expertly conceal dark circles, spots and imperfections.
• High performance powders ensure flawless skin in any light, providing maximum coverage with a smooth, even finish that does not crease.
I am also considering trying the Kate Somerville anti-aging & skin vitamins that you take twice daily. These have also won an In Style beauty award. Apparently this is a vitamin cocktail that gives you better skin, better hair, and your daily dose of vitamins. They are 130 dollars, so I would only be paying 30 dollars on top of using my gift card. Rob seems to think these pills are a hoax and that they are over-priced. I agree that they're overpriced, but if I'm using a gift card then it would be okay to try them, right?
As a living tissue, the skin requires daily maintenance which includes nutrition, lubrication and protection.
Total Vitamin Anti-Aging is designed for clients who want to actively manage the aging process by providing the key nutrients to support youthful-looking skin.
Please, if anyone has used either of these things, let me know how you liked them :)

Clé de Peau products are AMAZING! I have used the concealer before and I think it really has a nice texture- not too light, but not too heavy. I would definitely go with Clé de Peau and skip the vitamins (but if you do let us know how they work!:)
My mom and I both use the Cle de Peau concealer... we both really really like it. Plus, one tube lasts for a long time.
Cle de Peau is amazing! If only the prices weren't insane!
I'm thinking you could probably get the same results from pre-natal vitamins...
I'd buy $100 of Hanky Panky's.
I am with Grits!! =) haha. Although, that would only be like 8 hanky panky's!
The Cle de Peau concealer sounds like a good product, but I tend to think that vitamins are vitamins and agree with Rob! ;-)
Ha, Rob sounds like LC. LC thinks it's all about packaging and gimmicks. His fave line is "lotion is oil and water, I have no idea why you pay so much for that stuff." I agree with the other comments on the vitamins. Let us know how the product you choose turns out!
Never tried that make-up line (and honestly never heard of it). I'm always on the look-out for a better concealer than what I use, so if you do purchase it please do a review and let us know how you like it!
I've never used any of the products, but they all seem nice!
I Use Kate Somorville's Quench and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT.
I love the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch Highlighter) and love it.
Kate Hudson uses it, and I love how she glows.
I haven't tried them, but I do have the same problems with concealor. If you try this let us know! I am loving cosmedicine private nurse right now...it is amazing for your skin!
Ok-Go to wal mart or somewhere and buy the Oil of Olay daily vitamin packs. They are the exact same thing! Plus, they are so much cheaper!!!
I stumbled over here doing research/shopping for another product - but I thought I'd share. I use the Cle de Peau face lotion, serum and under eye cream and they are GREAT. Yes the are hella expensive but they do last almost a year. They are also very generous with free samples which are good for travel.
But the products really do work - I get compliments all the time that I do look "young"
I have thought about the KS vitamins too. If you try them you must promise a review too!
