Several of you wanted to know more information on my boots! I am here to please, so please allow me to tell you ALL about them. Ha!
The boots are the "Loeffler Randall" Olivia boot in "Bone". They are simply amazing. I have worn them EVERY single day that I've been in St. Louis and have received countless amounts of compliments on them. They are super comfy and look great with anything. I love wearing them over my black Vince riding pants. I also love wearing them with thick black tights and a dress. Here are some different ways that I have worn them this week:

ok I am boot obsessive...the fact that I got paid today and the first thing that went through my mind was "yay I can get another pair of boots" might mean I have a problem lol but I love those they are awesome!
Oh, WOW. I love them! And I'm dying of jealousy over the fact your hubby got them for you as a bday gift- my DH still is a bit shy with pulling the trigger when it comes to picking out clothes/shoes/bags for me as gifts. The only way I get him to do so is through a ridiculous amount of heavy hinting.
RIDICULOUS. AMOUNT. To the point where I'm still worn out after my birthday last year and didn't have the heart to do it again this year. :/

Now that I can see them better, my LR Mathilde boots were definitely wider at the top. Your Olivias seem pretty straight up & down.
I cannot find any boots as comfy now that I have tried the LRs!

Thank you for your post. I just purchased the brown Matilde LR boots - they are a classic style with a slight heel that makes it both stylish and comfy. My only question - is it normal for the ankle area to be a bit loose? From looking at your pics, it looks like it is - in the past I've only purchased zip up boots as opposed to the pull on, so I just wanted to make sure. Also, what are your favorite brand/style of tights? Any other pants/jeans that you like to wear with your boots?
