Imju Fiberwig
First, while I was in St. Louis I purchased "Fiberwig" which is all the rage in Japan. It is made with small fibers that attach to your lashes to give you a "painted on false lashes" look. I was amazed at the result, but it didn't really add much volume to my lashes. I think this mascara is better to apply over top of ANOTHER kind of mascara- kind of if you are looking for the wow factor. I do like it, just not by itself.
YSL "Singulier"
Second, my favorite local Memphis store, "Joseph", always has great cosmetics. While chatting it up with the cosmetic girl at a recent hair appointment, she talked me into purchasing and trying YSL's new mascara called "Singulier". It is ABSOLUTELY amazing. By far the BEST mascara I have ever tried. I am totally hooked and will never go back to diorshow iconic ever again. The YSL does EVERYTHING you want a mascara to do and more. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is obsessed with mascara like moi :)

I love, love, love Fiberwig! I bought some from Sephora a few months ago and it's amazing - although you are definitely right about the lack of volume.

I love that you've done my work for me, because I was getting ready to start looking for a new mascara. I have used diorshow iconic for a while now, but it just isn't giving me the wow factor anymore. I will be trying out the YSL asap. Thank you!

I am a total eyelash whore! I have the itty nuttiest lashes and yet I demand that my mascara give me the look of wearing falsies! I think I'll give the ysl one a try :)

have you tried cliniques new mascara that curls your eyelashes, no need for an eyelash curler? Sarah and I both bought some. I love it, I don't know about Sarah. It is kind of funky though because it doesn't come off with makeup remover, you have to remove with hot water :) Miss yoU!

Have you tried Shiseido's mascara base? It is AMAZING. You apply it first before putting on mascara, and it plumps up every lash and makes mascara glide on. I can't wear mascara without it!
I got the fiberwig at sephora the other day...it's fab! I'll have to try the ysl too.
