PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Peel Vlog!

Peel Vlog!

I posted this vlog over the weekend, then I took it down due to how sick nasty I look in the video. After several people petitioned for me to put it back up, I caved. I am so pasty in this video, but what the heck- just keepin' it real!

Here are links to the two peels that I use:

1) Benev 7% Glycolic Solution

2) Epicuren 10% Glycolic Solution

how bad does your face peel afterwards? i am scared to do it and then my face be all red & flaky & nasty when i try and go to work the next day(s).

can you wear makeup when it starts to peel? just wondering. i really need to do something with my skin b/c it is so drab and uneven, but it is very sensitive, so i've been hesitant to use a peel in the past.

my face just peels lightly- normally i can use a facial scrub and apply a heavy moisturizer and make-up the same or next day.

This is a great video! I may have to try a peel this week. Would you recommend to start with the lower percentage ones first to get used to the process? (And p.s. you look great without makeup. ;))

Thanks for reposting! I'm a pool virgin, was so curious to see what it was all about...

yes, definitely start with a lower percentage and only leave on for 5 minutes at the most.

Your skin looks gorgeous... You don't need makeup at all!!

Have you ever tried a lactic-acid peel?? I was just wondering how you thought it compared with the glycolic peel??

Thanks for sharing! I might have to try one of these in the new year after Christmas is over, everyone goes away and I can risk looking like an no make-up peeling mess! hahaha Kudos to you for going sans make-up... you look fine!

Your skin looks great. I have never tried a peel, my skin is so sensitive so I am nervous about it.

Megan, what's your skin type and what was the primary reason for you to start using glycolic peel? (if you don't mind me asking)

I have combination skin and I don't think I'll have any wrinkle issues (judged by the way my mom's face skin looks even now). What else does this peel help with?

Thanks for posting that video!!! Reading instructions is one thing, actually seeing someone's demonstration is a lot more helpful!
