{Hello 2005}
{BFFs at my 21st Bday celebration reppin' the blazer trend}
Blazers were HUGE in my college years, but after that, they seemed to take a backseat. Recently, they have reemerged on the scene, partly thanks to Duchess Catherine and her savvy style.
{Oops, how did that picture get in there ;) Oh the fun you can have on Face In a Hole}
Boom blazers are everywhere now in all colors! I still love a traditional navy blazer, but I also love the new colored ones that we are seeing everywhere. I wore a hot pink one today from H&M.
I foresee blazers being huge in the fall. I think they are a great piece that can be worn with casual wear or dressed up like Catherine displayed with a navy dress.

In my opinion, a cute fitted blazer hasn't been out of style since 2004. And the boyfriend blazers have been huge recently, though they aren't really my favourite! Your pink one is too cute!
I love the blazer look! I noticed in the movie BRIDESMAIDS, Kristin Wiig's character wore a lot of blazers with cute dresses. I also love Kate Middleton's blazer look. She always looks so put together.
OMG! you look EXACTLY like her!
Ummm... I may or may not have a black velvet one that was around in the Lex Ave days. I couldn't get rid of it. It will probably make an appearance this Fall. Love the hot pink one!

Oh my! I love blazers and have always worn them. Glad to see they are going to be more available this Fall! I just don't see me every buying another velvet one. haha
I love blazers!! I tried on a white one today at Zara and looooved it!
Loving the colored blazers!! I'm on the lookout for one in blush.
Tho, I don't think Kate M brought upon this trend, they've been back in style for a couple of years now. I got a way cute black one last winter from F21 for only $20.. a steal!
I totally agree with you! Loving blazers for fall :)
ahahaha i remember that time lol
Love the pink blazer and your bangs!
J Crew made some seriously fabulous blazers in the day, too. I had velvet, cord, herringbone - loved 'em. Oh how I miss J Crew of yore!
I have a couple velvet blazers hanging in my closet from JCrew from a few years back and I love them! The somewhat conservative girl in me never really put them away and I've been wearing the updated versions as well as the traditional ones for as long as I can remember. Glad they're making a comeback though in the mainstream! Once a preppy...
omg yes!! i worked at j.crew in college and we wore blazers all.the.time. love that trend!
i MIGHT have been wearing my light pink crushed velvet blazer to work for the past 4 years...ha!

I never let the blazer die. Great pink blazer!!!
I'm thrilled with the blazer style! So flattering, so refined, so fun. I seriously want a fitted navy one with rolled sleeves and gold buttons.

I loved the blazer & jeans trend in 2004, so I'd be happy to see these come back! For cooler weather, there's something so smart looking about a nice set of jeans with a fitted blazer and heels!
I love when you take us back to the olden days!
I rocked both that turquoise and dusty pink velvet blazers back in 2004, with the lace/silk cami under of course!
I am a blazer girl myself. Love yours! Newly following you and loving your posts so far!

Oh gosh! I used to LIVE in blazers -- especially the velvet ones from Gap. I'm excited for this trend to come back in because I kept about a dozen that I'll be busting out come fall.
OMG! that pink is great on you!
