PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Mid-Week Randoms

Mid-Week Randoms

I got this new foundation during the Saks Fifth Avenue beauty even a couple of weeks ago.  I have wanted to try it for a while after seeing many good reviews.

I really do love it- it smells divine and goes on very smooth and powder-like.  I still love the Bobbi Brown foundation I've posted about many times, but the Giorgio Armani is another great option.  The two are completely different- the BB is much more hydrating and dries like a liquid foundation whereas the Giorgio Armani dries like a powder and gives a much more matte finish.

Did you all buy anything during the Saks F&F or the Shopbop F&F (ps- both are still going on)?  I went a little insane with both of the sales.  I just can't resist a sale! Also, I feel like 25% off is a lot when you want some big ticket items! I have been saving things in my Saks cart for a while and finally pulled the trigger this with this sale.  I actually didn't know Shopbop's would be the very same day, so of course I had to partake in that one too.  I should be well stocked with fall sweaters and sweater dresses now.  Here are just a few of the items that were in my cart with these two sales!

Who all is still watching Homeland this season?  I heard from a lot of friends that they thought it started out slow and they hated the Dana storyline.  I think I was just so excited to have Homeland back that I couldn't care less what the show is about this season.  I admit the Dana stuff is tres boring, but overall I am still loving it.  This past Sunday's episode was so intense and crazy- I was so into it! Also, as a former psych major who possibly wanted to work with mental institutions (and thinking sometimes I should be in one myself), I love the scenes where Carrie is in the looney farm.

It is officially one month until my 29th Birthday- woot woot.  Shout out to my fellow Scorpio peeps! Let the month long Birthday celebrations ensue!

Have a great Wednesday!
