They recommended a product called "Metalex", I think. It lifts the color, but I had to apply it and let it sit 3 times before my hair was back to blond. This was several years ago, and I purchased it at Sally's. I bet they would have some sort of color lifter if that one isn't available any more. It was quite oily and didn't seem to damage my hair at all. It was a lot like a hot oil treatment, but stickier. Good luck, but I think your hair is gorgeous as is!Pam Richardsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11169464498151079647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217817448870838181.post-43361482333187748522011-06-07T13:20:47.378-07:002011-06-07T13:20:47.378-07:00Try baby shampoo. The first is put on a sulfur based color stripper (which will lift your hair up to reddish-orange light brown nasty color) and then apply the desired color. You hair will feel like shit after this so you'll have to really baby it if you want to keep it long. Or you can start applying a subtly lighter and lighter base each time you have your hair colored. Over time your ends will fade and get trimmed. Your hair will eventually blend completely again. This is a slower process but it will protect the integrity of the hair. most people want to go the quick and dirty route and are underwhelmed with the results. To fade the ends now you can sprinkle powder Cascade in your shampoo. Or hair bleach (if your really brave). make sure you condition like crazy after home hair fading.
