PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Pardon the absence ...

Pardon the absence ...

As I will be super-busy with work this week.

I feel like this crazy stressed cat with how much stuff I have going on! Junior League projects, work projects, traveling for work, scheduling things for work, etc. etc.

I firmly believe in the saying, "When it rains, it pours ..." I had a full-blown breakdown in traffic today when people were deciding to go 10 miles under the speed limit in both lanes of a very busy road here in Memphis. I just laid on the horn and started flaring my hands and yelling obscenities. Let me just say that I'm not the most patient person in the world, but this was just ridiculous. Do you ever feel like passing people in the median or chucking bottles at cars, because I have this urge several times a day.

Not to mention I had to wait FORTY FIVE minutes in line at the post office because there was ONE employee working. What is it with post office's these days? Their customer service is beyond lacking and there's always a line out the door.

On a happier note, I got a b12 shot today and feel tons better.

Until next time ...

Well, I gotta say that from your previous post you do not look anything like the kitty in the picture. You might feel like that, but you still look fabulous. Take a deep breath, go to Starbucks and remember that you have a great husband, doggies who love you, and an awesome blog with more than 500 readers who adore you. :)

Traffic can be a real {insert nasty word of choice here} sometimes! Even here in the country people can be such slow-pokes. There is this man that drives down my road twice a day and goes no faster than 30miles an hour. I have passed him on the double yellow line many many times. And you are for sure right about everything coming up all at once. Glad you feel better now and hope you have a great rest of the week. = )

Oh boy - somebody's having a rough go of it! Relax, have a nice cup of coffee and tackle one obstacle at a time! You can do it!!!

Post offices do suck in the states! I used to be in the post office in Queens for like 4 hours nearly every Saturday around Christmas because they suck so much! UGH!

Hang in there lady! I'm with ya! Between a board meeting in 3 weeks to finalize plans for, 2 charity events within 7 days of each other, working full time I feel like I'm all over the place! As my mama says "this too shall pass"! On a brighter note - at least you don't have to deal with DC/Northern VA traffic! :) Good luck!
