2) Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo & Conditioner- this stuff is amazing. It has totally transformed my hair since the horrid Garnier fiasco. It leaves your hair like when you were a kid- silky and shiny. This may possibly be the best stuff I've ever used.
3) Dior Diorskin FreshGlow Foundation Powder- I flip flop between various powder foundations. I will use tinted moisturizer for a while, then I will go back to using mineral powder. I ordered this stuff on a whim with a giftcard and I really like it a lot. It leaves my skin feeling really soft and has great coverage for a powder foundation.
4) Boscia Black Luminizing Mask- I know I posted about this last week, but I just can't say enough good things about this mask. I use this at least 3 times a week after using Retin-a. It is perfect for pulling away any dead skin and impurities and leaves my face glowing.
5) Lancome Precious Cells Definicils Mascara- this is a new version of the classic definicils that has been around for years. This formula contains lash nourishing ingredients that are supposed to help condition and enhance your lashes. I really like this mascara. I like the smell, the results, and the benefits.
6) Retin-A- I've said it once and I will say it again- Retin-A is one of the best things you can do for your skin. Using any kind of retinol will build up new cell turnover on your skin and will help prevent and correct wrinkles. I've been using this now for the past year. Did you know that Retin-A is the only product approved by the FDA for improving wrinkles? Yes, you do have to get it prescribed by your dermatologist, but it is a wonderful product. It will make your face a hot peeling mess for the first couple of months, but once you get through those months your skin will thank you.

I want to try all these products! I'm just starting a Retin-A regime- do you use it nightly? Do you moisturize on top of it? Thanks for the recommendations!
At BlogHer I got some samples of "Good Skin" products & I'm really enjoying the 365 smoothing serum. Definitely seeing a difference in the texture of my skin, in a good way.
At BlogHer I got some "Good Skin" brand products to try out- I was skeptical (they sell it at Kohls which isn't where I normally go for skin products, or anything for that matter) but I've been impressed with the 365 peptide smoothing serum. Definitely seeing a difference!
Bought the Boscia face mask last week when you recommended it and I LOVE it! Awesome recommendation!
P.S. - super cute new blog look!
Where did you get the Joico stuff? A salon? I tried that Ojion hair oil you recommended and I love it!
I just saw on Dr. Oz how he was recommending for women in their 30s to use retinol. And, while I don't have Retin-A, I did get some retinol capsules by Philosphy. Have you every noticed it causing you to break out a bit?
in re: to the retin-a questions ... i use it every other night and wash it off as soon as i wake up. I then use a heavy moisturizer to aide with the peeling. Also, don't forget SPF!
Thank you so much for the Retin-A tips!
Hey Megan! I love your blog!!!!! Can't wait to try some of the products you have recommended. Quick question though- Being a Retin-A user do you aviod waxing your eyebrows? I have heard that their can be "problems" with waxing when using this product. If you do wax, is there a type of wax that is better for Retin-A users?
Thanks!!!!
