I love it! I've gotten the same feeling from Kentucky (or at least Louisville), that it's less Southern and more midwestern. But Southern Living thinks about 22 states are southern, so go with it!
Oh my. How much do I love that you just "raised the roof" to your mother-in-law? Adorbs!
You crack me up!! I feel like people in Oklahoma think it is a southern state but then nobody otuside of OK thinks it is one. I dont really have an opinion either way. I love watching these!
I did it, and I'm about to upload it and post it. :)
I LOVE this so much I'm googling all the accent vlogs out there. Too funny!!! Thanks for posting - I live in Indiana, and my mom also says warsh instead of wash. How did we escape that? Thank goodness! PS: you are in the heart of the midwest.
Loved this! I always have called rain in the sun a sun shower :) I also loved the raise the roof bahahhaa
Hi Meg, thanks for the shout out!! My favorite part of the vlog was your explanation of the bang clip!! It truly made me laugh out loud when I saw your bangs standing straight up!! Love and miss you...your favorite MIL!!!
Fun tag!
Cute! I made one to represent the north easterners (we definitely have some different answers) -- I added on vimeo for Robyn G -- Check it out!
I feel like I'm in the same boat as you - Atlanta is the "south" but there are so many transplants here that you get a range of accents, from Midwestern, ultra Southern, northern, etc.. I think I'm pretty devoid of any kind of accent...I just did a vlog so go tell me what you think. :)

Love it! I love how you talk, seriously :)
I did one yesterday with my "New England" accent.
cute! i may try doing this, never done a blog before. oh and the "bubbly carbonated drink called?" question...i was like CHAMPAIGN!!! haha um alcoholic much?!
This is so fun I even made my husband do it! (were both from SC) on the next to last one i shouted out 'summer shower' and he said its the devil beating his wife. apparently its both? learn something new everyday :)
i've been saying louisville wrong for the longest time. really enjoyed your vlog!
You make me laugh! Freakin' bang clip is going to fly off the shelves tomorrow you know that right?!? ;)
And you totally look like Kate Middleton in this thing.
OMG! I love this idea. I'm going to have to do my first vlog this weekend. Thanks for sharing!
I also am a big fan of the bang clip! Loved it. I might just have to participate later. Such fun!
Hey! Hopped on over from Jenna's Journey. I am loving hearing all the different accents! So fun!

Loooooove this! I'm gonna have to do it too! :)
I died when you said "What up Jan?!"
I'm so glad you participated, I've always wondered what you sounded like!!
I love you!! That was so funny. I am a fan of the bang clip too...but I don't have bangs. I put the front pieces of my hair up in one for a while before I leave the house and right before I leave I take it out and it gives my super straight and fine hair some volume.
I feel like Oklahoma is the same way, we have mid western slang and southern...but people in Florida do not consider Oklahoma southern :) Your VLOG was great! I love your personality.

I finally was able to watch this (yes at midnight PST) and it made me miss you so much and also so excited that I get to see you in a week!
This was SO fun to watch. The bang clip needs it's own name . I'm thinking NatOsha and we will call her Tosh for short. Tweetdeck cricketing in the background was priceless. Where was Miss P? I am pretty sure that she needs to do her own accent vlog.
I think that I am going to do my Washington+oklahoma/bama mama+wyoming daddy+Arizona accent vlog tomorrow. This accent of mine should be known as "hideous".
I may have to watch this again just for the bang clip and to raise the roof to Jan again and so that I can wave to LC when you give her a shout out.
Loved this! Inspired me to do (a quite embarrassing) one of my own!
Oh I have so much to say!! How am I just now following you when I thought I did forever ago?!?!
I had no idea you were from KY! I definitely feel like we are a southern state but I live in the EKY and I think that's a whole different ballgame than outside of Louisville! It's very common to hear warsh and arn. What a sweet shout out/roof raise to your MIL. Hilarious!
Love the bang clip... Mine has bling.. And it goes out in public.. Let me know if you're jealous and I'll send you one ;)
Seriously I love every time you Vblog! You crack me up! :) LOVE IT and your bang clip~
So funny! The only one I was surprised by was how you said Mayonaise (you kind of sounded it out). I would be very scared to do this :/
