PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Thursday Randomness

Thursday Randomness

I'm still going to talk about the Missoni for Target today- get over it. I, for one, have always loved Missoni and think it's so cool that they did a line for Target, regardless of it selling out or not. I get that not everyone likes the Missoni look. I also get that Missoni for Target is not real Missoni. However, I happen to like it and personally don't care if everyone will be wearing the same Missoni for Target dress- it's all in how you wear it, duh!

Why would anyone hate on people for getting excited over inexpensive clothes? Are you out wearing real Missoni? Probably not. But wait, if someone were wearing real Missoni I'm sure you would be talking about how they probably can't afford it and such. Don't make me feel all stabby now! Just standing up for my fellow fashion-obsessed girls! And no, this isn't about one specific person, I just witnessed several Missoni for Tarjay bashings over the past few days.

Speaking of, here's how I wore the little heels:
And just when you thought I couldn't get enough, I went back for more! I just love this rose print and decided that I would be able to wear the kids jacket in the XL. I tried on the Large in a store and it was a little tight across the back, but the XL is on its way to me thanks to a kind person whose store had the XL.
I promise I'll stop talking about this stuff soon. Maybe not.

Haha, although I was whining on Twitter about not liking the line, still love your reviews! And I bought those shoes AND a make-up bag so I really should just shut my mouth. Haha

Love your outfit!

LOL you crack me up! So much drama! And people are saying that because these designers are doing collections for Target that it's going to "diminish" their label. Whatever. I would probably never buy a real Missoni piece, but I don't mind shelling out $50 for a cute dress or top.

You totally stole my idea about checking out the kids' section. ;)

I'm going to check out my Target tomorrow to see what Missoni stuff they have left and also see if I can find those ballet flats that Shasta posted.

I haven't decided how I feel about all the people buying ALL the Missoni stuff to put on Ebay. Part of me says it is wrong, but then again they're taking advantage of an easy situation to make money.

I'm thinking that if these people can't sell all of it on Ebay, we're going to see some Missoni stuff on clearance in a few weeks/months because they brought it back!

People seriously need to get over the Missoni for Target bashing. The stuff is cute and affordable - who doesn't like that? I bought those same heels and can't wait to wear them!

Only on you would I appreciate it. I'm an equal opportunity hater- Hate the $1200 dresses AND the $60 dresses. Stab me.

Like my girl Beantown Prep said, if you talk about it, I will appreciate it! LOL. Everyone else needs to shut the trap! :)
It totally isn't my style, but I've been rethinking lately. If I end up at Target with a cart full of Missoni, I blame you!! :)

Those shoes were one thing they still had at my Target when I went. I actually loved them but they fit me weird. I tried on the 7.5 and the 8 and needed something in between, maybe a 7.75 :-) Glad you scored some cute stuff! I really wanted the infinity scarf but it was all gone :-(

I think it was more the crazyness of some of the people buying it that really made it something to talk about on Twitter!

The items look really cute on you!

I don't know where I've been, but I was totally out of the loop about the Missoni for Target line until I read some blogs yesterday afternoon. I really would have liked a pair of those heals. Those are really cute!

Love the shoes! I keep getting emails from Target that my order will be delayed later and later...

I'm not a big Missonni fan--I like it in small does like accessories and those shoes! They look fabulous on you. I did not make it to Target this week, but I'm going to look this weekend to see if there's any returns. The Target nearest me is a smallish one, so oddly they don't get a lot of crowds for designer collaboration launches.

I'm with you - I'm kind of tired of people whining about the line, especially the people who have been crying about how the site crashed and how long the in-store lines were. We all knew it was going to be crazy like that, so I don't understand why people acted so surprised!
