So I know that I am usually the one dishing out unsolicited fashion advice, but today I need your all's help.
As you all know, I wear this simple J.Crew Muse dress like 500x a month. It's my go-to dress to wear with a scarf and booties or flats. The problem is that J.Crew doesn't make this dress anymore. I think this dress is from fall of 2010. I've tried the teddie dress and it's too confining and not comfortable at all.

I need more dresses like this. I love how the waist is defined and how the skirt part of the dress flows out. It also has pockets. Basically it's the perfect dress and they don't make it anymore.
Any suggestions for another perfect little dress like this?

Have you had a look at Topshop? They do a lot of fit & flare cotton freezes though the quality won't be as good as J. Crew...
Anthropology has almost the exact dress in a couple different colors. Happy shopping!
Did you email J.Crew? Sometimes they will bring things back if they hear from shoppers.
ASOS has a similar dress(skater dress). It's thicker, so I'm not sure if it's equivalent to that one.
zara has a lot of black dresses lately. check it out!

I love how you pair a simple black jersey dress with ankle boots and bright colored scarf. I'll definitely try a similar look when it gets warmer around here. Good luck with locating the dress. What about eBay?
