Today is a prime example of my previous post about how I have a problem lately with getting up early. Take last night for instance ... I went to bed at 9 pm with intentions of getting up and working out from 7-8am. Wrong. I didn't wake up until 8:30 am. I probably would have slept later if I didn't have a facial at 9.
Seriously, I used to get up at 5:30 am (used to meaning like a month or two ago) and lately, no matter how early I go to bed I am sleeping in until 8 am, which is super-late for me!
What is wrong with me? Can interrupted sleep be the answer? Lately the dogs are getting up in the middle of the night and rummaging around. Maybe this is my problem.
Tonight I am trying out a recipe a friend gave me from "Cooking Light" for goat cheese quesedillas. Should be interesting and I will let you all know how they turn out!

I have the same problem with the dog. She has been getting me up to "go to the bathroom" in the middle of the night. I don't think she really goes, I think she just sniffs around for 10 minutes. After that I am so tired. If she didn't pitch a fit about eating at 7 am, I would totally sleep late. I think interrupted sleep is not good for you. I think I read that somewhere.
I'm in the same dog boat, too. Our bigger one gets overheated and goes into his crate. Then he gets cold and gets back in the bed.
I took a nap sans doggies today and it was the best sleep I have gotten in a long time.
megan how in the lord did you used to get up at 5:30am? i so wish i could! i would get sooo much more done! but i could sleep for 12 hours a night and still use a nap the next day...and, i've never heard of a bride book!!! your wedding is going to be so fabulous, and i can't wait to see!!
It could be the interrupted sleep. No matter what time I go to bed, if my sleep is interrupted, I will feel like I haven't slept at all!
