Surely I'm not the only one out there with any weird habits. All of my life, I have been overly obsessed with having clean feet. Basically, I'm obsessed with feet in general. I always look at people's feet and if someone has a weird toe or strange feet I will never forget it. I will always think of them as "hammer toe" or "one long toe". Men's feet especially gross me out. Thank goodness Rob has normal toes because I would not have been able to handle it if he had a weird toe or something like that. I am sorry if any of you readers have weird feet. I promise I won't hold it against you!
Back to the clean feet thing ... If I am ever around pools I despise stepping in puddles of water. I will walk on the sides of my feet just to avoid fully stepping in standing water. I have noticed that I am even like this in my own house. I HATE being barefoot in our house ... especially the bathroom. Something about being barefoot on the tiles grosses me out. Most of the time I just wear my flip flops around the house, but recently I have found a comfy solution to my OCD problem.
Behold, the fur booties:
These, my friends, are the most comfortable lounging booties I've ever worn. I got the idea from my friend Claire, who was donning a pair when we visited her in Louisiana. The booties come from restoration hardware and were on sale for 9.99 when I purchased them a couple of months ago. I wear these suckers every night! They aren't the prettiest things to look at, but they are so comfy and keep my feet clean!

Girl, you are hilarious!
One of my sorority sisters had these freakishly long toenails. We're talking "filed to a point and extending beyond the actual toe" long. And she painted those monsters and wore sandals all the darn time. She even acknowledged that she had to buy closed-toe shoes a half-size big to accommodate them. When she friended me on Facebook, my first thought wasn't "I'm so glad to hear she's a successful physician." It was "I wonder if she's cut those things in the past decade, or if there's a Guinness record at stake?" :)
We are opposites in some aspects...I love to be bare foot (at least in the house!) I don't like my feet confined and I try to wear peep toes, sandals, anything that let my feetsies breathe! :)
They're cute! I can't go barefoot inside either because we have all word floors - I can feel every piece of anything!
I totally understand! I HATE dirty feet! I can't always go get a manicure every time I feel like I need one, so I give myself home ones all the time. Plus, I refuse to walk outside barefoot, and I usually wear socks in the house. :) The boots look comfy!
Ahhh..I have the same obsession with clean feet. I always have to have something on them when I'm in the house, even if I just cleaned the floors.
Off to the restoration hardware website I go to try and find those slippers...
Haha... I am TOTALLY OPPOSITE! I HATE shoes! I would love to walk around barefoot everyday if I could!!! HAha... But I also have cute/normal feet :) So I hope you can handle it :P

PS. Glad you had such a great time on your honeymoon :)
I have the same obsession. And, I can NOT sleep if my feet are dirty. My feet have to be squeaky clean everytime I go to bed or even take a nap.
I completely agree. I think feet are freakishly weird. I wear booties inside the house too and I'm never barefoot outside..ever!
I hate having my feet be dirty and I have a weird thing about feet too - if someone's feet touch me, I completely flip out. Don't like it and don't like too many people touching my feet. Pedicures and pre-approved boyfriend foot rubs only.. no surprises! hahaha
I have bad toenails because of ingrowns caused by years of ballet - if I ever meet you I'll know to wear closed toed shoes! hahaha
LOL! One of my coworkers stunned my hubby at work a couple of years ago by asking to see his toes. I had told her that one of the reasons I married him is because he has the cutest toes (and he does)!
