In the mean time, I need y'alls advice! One of my bff's is getting married on July 4th. I am having a tough time choosing between two dresses for her rehearsal dinner. Each dress is completely different in different ways.
The first is a Milly ruffle party dress and is a little more conservative, but yet still fun.
The second one is a Milly (can you tell I like Milly?) backless maxi-dress. It's a little more risque, but still very classy. In the polyvore picture it's navy and white, but the actual one I am considering is YELLOW and white, so keep that in mind.
Which do you all like better?

I love the ruffle dress! It will look SUPER cute on full length pictures & pictures from the shoulders up! Also, your wedding slide show on your photographers site was amazing! I loved all of your special details from your big day!

what is the venue for the dinner? i love both dresses. if the dinner is more conservative and formal, i'd go for the first dress. if it is a bit more relaxed, i'd pick the maxi.
i think i like the ruffle dress more. but could you wear the ruffle dress to the wedding and the maxi dress to the rehearsal? i feel like that maxi dress could be worn out more places while the ruffle seems only suitable for cocktail and formal events. but can't go wrong!
ruffles ruffles all the way! they're both fantastic and i'm sure you'll look super cute in either but i think the ruffle shoulders would make for great pics!

I vote for the ruffle dress for sure, since you'll be sitting down for most of the event and the top half of the dress will be on display! Glorious ruffles and color.
The maxi would be better for an event where you're standing most of the time, to really show it off.
I realllly love the orange Milly with the ruffles! The maxi dress is cute but def. more casual so I would pick the dress based on the venue!
I really like the orange dress. Plus any opportunity to wear those shoes would be great!
