PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: My New Year's Eve ...

My New Year's Eve ...

Last year for NYE I sat on my behind and watched old episodes of CSI. Lame, I know. I have done the whole "going out" thing for NYE and to me, it is just a hassle. There are too many people out and everything is overpriced. R and I have decided that we are going to go to a nice dinner followed by relaxing at home with some friends.

This will be my NYE outfit:

{Black Turtleneck, Milly tweed mini-skirt, tights & Jimmy Choo glitter flats}

What will you all be wearing on NYE?

That sounds like the perfect NYE night to me! Also sounds a lot like what the Hubs and I are planning.. We have early dinner reservations for an amazing restaurant in Philly and will actually be catching a late night movie! Personally, NYE is mega overrated and overpriced! I've been to Times Square and participated in the madness from a loft in a nearby hotel.. and that's enough for me! :) Have a fabulous evening! Looooove the flats! :)

I am not a big NYE person! We are watching the Tennessee bowl games, with steaks, homemade creamed spinach and a bottle of red.

Love it! And I love your purse! I have been eyeing this one for months now and keep meaning to buy it! I will need to plan a trip into the city just to get it :O)

Sounds like what I'll be doing-I have no big plans- I recently moved in November and bought a house so I've decided it's OK to sit at home on NYE and watch some TV and sip some champagne by myself. Not ideal being alone, but what can ya do? ;-)

I feel like everyone is taking a relaxed view of NYE this year... me included! I'll be cooking dinner with the parents and playing Wii and watching UT football--have fun!!

I agree- it is a huge hassle to go out on NYE, especially in Memphis! We always have people over at the house too! Very low key, but fun!

I couldn't have said it better myself. While it's always fun to do a big NYE, it's even better celebrating low key with friends and family. I think I am going to be celebrating in a similar fashion here in Denver with the future in-laws and a few friends.

I'm not a big fan of going out on NYE either, mostly because it's so cold and crowded! Not sure what I'm doing, it'll probably be something casual and involve food.

Love the outfit! Our NYE tradition is to stay home, have another couple over and we have fondue! & lots of champagne!!

We also stay in on NYE! This year Hubby and I will be going next door to our neighbors house for an intimate dinner and drinking. I can't wait! I have never been one for clubs...and on NYE my sentimate doesn't change :). I hope you have a fantastic NYE!

Love the outfit!
I love NYE, and we always try to end the year w/ a bang, but I always think it's important to remember it's not where you are, but who you're with! Enjoy your relaxing New Years Eve!
