Dream Weaaavveerrr ...

In the words of Gary Wright, "Dream weaver, I believe you can get me through the niggghhttt!"

I have been having the most bizarre and random dreams lately. Every night I have extremely vivid and crazy dreams. They make absolutely no sense and contain people that I haven't seen in years. Some of these dreams are just flat out bizarre and creepy (picture me saying that in the annoying Kelly Bensimon voice).

Recently, I have been having dreams about random people that I went to high school with, elementary school, college, etc. Being the investigative and analytical person that I am, I researched this on the internet and found that dreaming about childhood or old friends means this:

To see your childhood friend in your dream, signifies regression into your past where you had no responsibilities. Things were much simpler and carefree. You may be wanting to escape the pressures and stresses of adulthood. Consider the relationship you had with this friend and the lessons that were learned. Alternatively, the childhood friend suggests that you have been acting in a childish manner. You need to start acting like an adult. - DreamMoods.com

So am I taking things too seriously now? Do I want to escape the pressures of adulthood? The interpretation makes a lot of sense.

Check out the dream interpreter HERE.

Do you all have weird dreams? What do you think they mean?

I don't think that general dream interpretations apply to every one of us. Dreaming of childhood friends may mean something different for me than for other people?

I have a copy of "On dreams" by Freud, his interpretation probably applies more to individuals than general public.

In fact, I should start reading it-thanks for the inspiration :)
