PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: New Found Love

New Found Love

I don't work out. As a matter of fact, I hate working out with a passion. I have always been one of those naturally thin girls with a super-freakish metabolism. I know that I am lucky, but quite honestly, I am just lazy. I need to start working out just to be healthy.

I am always obsessed with the new celebrity trends. I have always heard about Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow's personal trainer, Tracy Anderson, but I never really looked into her method. Recently, someone tweeted a video by her and I was instantly intrigued. This girl has basically taken what I do all the time and turned it into an aerobics method. What do I do all the time you might ask? Oh, I dance around my house to techno music whilst cleaning. It's my only workout and I know it sounds crazy, but I will literally put on some techno music and just break it down.

Basically, Tracy Anderson has taken dance moves and made aerobic movements out of them to create lean and tiny muscles without bulk. The girl is itty-bitty and if I can look like her because of break dancing in my house, then by all means, sign me up!

I did these two videos yesterday and I am beyond sore today. Check them out and let me know what you think ...

Here is the video that was featured on Oprah with Gwyneth's workout:

I´ve been doing her workouts too, you can find some on Gwyneth´s Goop website. You can sigh up for exclusive videos on Tracys website too. I simply love her. Love. My kind of girl ;)Right now I´m doing Jillian Michael´s 30 Day Shred and I go to the gym 3-5 times a week. But I like Tracy more ;)I love her body and I think she´s so cute ;)

I've been dying to try her workouts as well, but her diets are crazy and I think the two go hand in hand. Whenever Gwyneth blogs on Goop about what she's eating first I gag, then I ponder how she can stand upright on what must be only about 500 calories of all organic (equals expensive and hard to find) rabbit food! A little extreme... but yes, house dancing is fun! I like to have a dance party in my house too!

Her workouts look super fun and I'd love to try them. However, I read Madonna's diet plan, provided by Tracy, and I would die. Normal people call that anorexia, she calls it a diet. No where in my world does celery make a meal :)

I think her workouts are a lot of fun and a nice break from regular running and weights. I agree about the diet. It is kinda crazy.
