PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Can I be BOHO?!

Can I be BOHO?!

So lately the whole "bohemian" trend has really taken over. From bell-bottoms to free flowing florals, you see the bohemian influence everywhere for spring.

I have really tried to embrace the boho trend recently. From parting my hair in the middle to wearing beaded bracelets stacked with mah Yurman, I am really trying to embrace my inner hippie!

Last night I tried the boho look by wearing a FRINGED poncho from H&M (that the lovely blog reader Jordana so kindly sent to me). I guess if I were a true boho, I probably wouldn't have worn it with Louboutins, but it was a start.

I apologize for the crappy pics as my OOTD photographer (aka husband) was not home.

Here are some of my favorite boho pieces for spring:
{Escada}
{Rebecca Taylor}
{ASOS}
{TopShop}
{Tolani}

I love being Boho one day and preppy polished the next. I never go super over the top with the Boho look, but a flowy blouse with a vest over some bell-bottom jeans and platforms...sometimes you just gotta get in touch with your inner flower power, right?

Love the Escada!
You could totally pull of BoHo. Me...probably not so much. I feel like everyone would be wondering what I did with my prepster self? Haha. I do have a couple flowy dresses and a pair of the wide bottom citizen jeans...so I guess there's a little of it in all of us. Even a prepster like myself.

For sure you can be boho! I like what your first commenter said. One day boho, the next day preppy. Nicole Richie is my ultimate Boho babe. I love how she dresses.

That poncho is cute on you and I love that last top!

You can totally pull it off. Too much boho is not good a la kate Hudson. Better in small doses!

I love the boho look and I rock it sometimes even when it's not on trend because there's always somethings that's 70's glam about it like Studio 54 or whatever. Also, I don't think Loubs take away from your hippie chicness. Furthermore, that fringe t-shirt takes me back to some bad photos of me in the 80's! hahaha I double dog dare you to buy it and then post a photo! Better yet, you can do it 80's style and fringe a Bananarama t-shirt yourself! hahaha

I bought some GINORM flares from Banana Republic and I love them! Paired with some chucky wedges (easy cause I'm short) and flowy tops, I'm all set! Not to mention my long hair already makes me feel like a hippy sometimes.
