Last night my bff and former college dorm roomy texted me this picture of our old dorm looking exactly the same as it did eight years ago when we moved in.
Oh, the memories! How fun it was to be a carefree college freshman! I can remember our dorm like it was yesterday. It was the size of a closet, but we made it cute!
When I was adding up how long it had been since we moved in as freshman I nearly had to check myself that it really was eight years ago. Where does the time go?? I mean, EIGHT years? Really?

Regardless, this time every year when kiddos are moving in to the dorms and getting excited for college, I can't help but get giddy in remembering my college days. They were some good ones!

Oh my gosh this makes me so sad! It has been nine years for me. Le sigh. :( I have some eeerily similar pics I should pull out. Ew.. I had a short brown bob at one point. And I am not kidding.
Aww reading this really made me miss college dorm life. I want to go back!! Those were the days... Not a care in the world.
I just counted, it's been 8 years for me too! I look at the stuff I wore and cringe! haha!
I get giddy to at the beginning of a new school year. It is so exciting and feels like a fresh start. Even though it has been 16 years since my freshmen year of college!
I don't know if Kirwan Towers or the Coach bucket hat makes me smile more...

I love seeing pictures of my old dorm rooms - but it also makes me sad that I am getting old :(
You just made me so sad. I lived in B Tower then K II and those are the same damn chairs!
Oh my godd no clue you went to UK! I lived in K Tower my freshman year..just a short two years ago!
My sis is at UK right now! She lived in IV a couple years ago and you're right... those rooms are TINY!
