PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Hello From St. Louis

Hello From St. Louis

Greetings from St. Louis. I am out-of-town for work and have been having a great time here in St. Louis

I was on a mission to find the Steve Madden Pembrook that I blogged about last week. I found the shoe, but OMG my foot wouldn't even fit in the opening. I tried and tried, but it would not fit at all.

My great little shoe salesman brought me this alternate, the Sam Edelman Louie and I fell in love! The fringe! I am so excited to wear these. I like them even better than the Pembrook.

Here are some outfits from this weekend:
{Blazer: H&M, Dress: Old Navy, Flats: Chanel}

{Sweater: Vince, Pants: J.Brand, Shoes: Tory Burch}

I've had the same problem with Steve Madden ankle/zipperless boots, and I notice their ankle boots are always on the clearance racks too. I'm surprised they haven't fixed this, because when I tried on a pair of ankle boots there last season the salesgirl said "oh, a lot of people have that problem."

Hi! If you are still in St. Louis, I was just at the brand new T.J. Maxx in Lake St. Louis off hwyN and they had the or a very similar style of the Sam Edelman Louie there. The style I saw had a zipper in the back, but they were positively Sam Edelman. They were too cute, plenty were there. (I think $50 or $60). This was Thursday. Hope you are having a great time in the Lou. If you haven't already, the New Nordstroms just opened at the Galleria... worth checking out!

Looking good, sista. Damn, that carpet is filthy at the store, but glad you scored your dream shoe. How I love fringed booties!
