PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Manic Monday

Manic Monday

You all know that I am always looking for a new scent, however, the chemicals in perfume are some of the strongest out there, so I am always looking for alternatives.  I was sent this wonderful scent by GIVE scent, which is all natural and free of alcohol, parabens, sulfates and formaldehydes.

I love the smell of this GIVE scent, but let me tell you a little goes a long way.  I made the mistake of slathering it on my wrist when I first got it and it was way too strong.  I just put a dab on my wrist and the scent lasts all day!

Do you all think that I have enough striped dresses?  The two I posted about last week from Gap came in and they are great.  The other one is a trade from a friend.  I love having a friend that wants to trade clothes with me.

I have a confession.  I got the Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel last week on eBay (it was a store return), but I am not sure I am going to keep it.  What do you all think?  I like it a lot, I just don't really think it's my style.  If you like it, email me and maybe you can buy it from me if I decide to sell it.

I went to the dermatologist last week and got this prescription gel that is awesome.  It has to be refrigerated, so that's odd, but it really does work.

Do any of you all use it?

I like the bag, but with it's size and dynamic shape, it overpowers your tiny frame... Keep those striped dresses... I suspect they're going to be in style for quite a while :-)

I used to use that prescription. It's so cold, its really nice and refreshing. I liked that it was clearish so I could dab on during the day too. My doc in Memphis is the one who prescribed it! It worked really well.

If its like the benzoyl peroxide scrip I have then BE CAREFUL bc it will bleach your pillow, sheets, clothes...basically any fabric it comes in contact with. I only use it in the morning for this reason. Oh yeah, and it totally clears up acne too! LOL worth a few bleach spots I suppose.

I love that bag! If you decide to sell, how much would you ask for it?

I used to use a benzyol peroxide gel/cream just like that - Benzaclin was the script name. It will bleach your towels etc, but it makes your skin so amazingly clear. Do keep it cool (nice for the summer) and be sure to throw it away on it's expiry date. If you keep it too long, the acids can get too strong and give you chemical burns.

I don't have the gel, but I have the pads/wipes. They are great! I use them just at night mainly because it can dry out your face really quick.

I am waiting for samples from a perfume line called Crow that is a water based perfume line, also free of the harsh chemicals. :) I have a hard time finding good smelling natural perfumes, so we'll see! I'll have to check this one out.

I live in Memphis as well and have been looking for a good dermatologist. You always seem to have the latest products. What Dr. do you see?
