Last night was one of my final steps in getting the last of the red pigment out of my hair. It's been quite a process- ladies, don't dye your hair red unless you are truly committed to be a rehead for a LONG time. It is such a fun color, but the upkeep was insane and the pigment stays in your hair FOREVER.
This was my hair in January- I'd say this was the height of my career as a redhead:
And this was in April when I decided to slowly go back to blonde:
And this was about a month ago when we really stepped up the blonde:
My stylist April at Pageboy Salon has been great at being conservative about getting me back to blonde. She is great about not doing too much at one time to make sure my hair isn't damaged. The last time we did more blonde and amped it up a little bit. There was still A LOT of red and orange pigment underneath, and April made it her mission this last time to get it all out. We did a light soapcap on the underneath portion of my hair where it was most red and then she weaved a highlight and lowlight into my entire head. I told her I wanted a modern "cool" blonde, and nothing too bright or golden.
I am really pleased with the result- it's a cool blonde that isn't too bright.
What do you all think?

Looks good! Be grateful you're not a natural ginger, you can never really cover that, it's always there in an underlying way!
Love it!! You truly can pull off any color and cut for that matter but I think you rock blonde the best!! You should do a hair montage from the last few years! I must say I adored your sassy super blonde long bob from a few years back!
Love it!!!
I think you hair looks great! I love the blonde and it looks so healthy!
Looks great - I've done red to blonde twice and both times it was such a long, painful and slightly pinkish orange transition. Welcome back to blonde! x
it looks absolutely gorgeous! You have great hair.

I cannot believe how long your hair is! Never seen someone who's hair grows that fast. It's awesome!
