This weekend we went back to my hometown for my 10 year high school reunion. I had SUCH a great time and loved seeing everyone- especially people that I really had not seen in 10 years.
It was funny because on Saturday night I saw this SNL clip that perfectly describes my hometown:

But for some reason I didn't love it ... I randomly went to TJ Maxx with my Mom on Saturday afternoon and found this perfect Halston Heritage-looking dress that was easy to wear and was much more comfortable than the outfit I had picked out:

The night before we all had a football tailgate and I wore an Urban Outfitter's polka dotted dress with my Old Navy vest, Hermes belt, and Old Navy booties.

Also, while I was at TJ Maxx I found the perfect quilted faux leather jacket. Remember I just posted about quilted jackets last week? This one is PERFECT.

All in all it was a great weekend that left me feeling nostalgic and yearning for those carefree years when all you had to worry about was what you were going to wear to a football game on a Friday night. My how times have changed!

Mine is this year over Thanksgiving weekend... I'm kind of dying to go, but we will be in NYC for the holiday. Oh well!
My 10 year reunion is next year, I'm hoping it doesn't get cancelled for lack of participation. and i LOVE that jacket!
Sadly my high school reunion was 3 weeks before my wedding and I was living in Cayman so I couldn't go home twice in 3 weeks and I missed it. I wish I could've gone - suppose I can look forward to the 20 year reunion in 6 years...

I just found your blog! I loved going to my reunion. It was a blast. Sidenote, my HH white dress is one of my favorite things I own ;) I guess I have figured out why I love your blog...LOL
I love your polka dot vets combo and the neon yellow high waisted skirt w/ the black top is perfection.
I cannot believe you got that quilted jacket at TJ! I have not been in a long time, but it's definitely time to go back.
