PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Hello ... Can You Hear Me?

Hello ... Can You Hear Me?

Hello from the other side! No, really, hello.  Sorry for the long hiatus.  PS- I am obsessed with Adele and her makeup lately.  I also love her haircut and kind of want to cut mine like this:

Let's pick right back up with skincare and beauty products because we all know those are my fave!

I've been using this Murad Rapid Spot Corrector  (it's only $42 on this Amazon link) for a couple of months and love it.  I can really tell a difference in the fading of my sunspots and freckles.  A little goes a long way as you really only need a small drop to cover your entire face.

I have been trying to find a good shampoo and conditioner for ages that doesn't leave my roots greasy looking but that also conditions my ends.  I already only put conditioner on my ends, but sometimes I would find that the roots of my hair would still appear oily so soon after washing.  This Alterna Caviar Rx Shampoo and Conditioner is amazing! I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I think that I've found my holy grail shampoo and conditioner.  Here is a link for the duo for only $42 on Amazon.

I've been on the hunt for a new eye cream and went back and forth between a couple but finally decided to just give this new one from Sephora a try.  The brand is one that I haven't heard of before called Farmacy- they make all their products with naturally derived ingredients which is pretty cool.  The eye cream has really good reviews on Sephora's website so that is also what led me to purchase.  So far I am very pleased with it- it goes on easy and smooth and I feel like it's helped with my dark circles.

Since I have CRS (can't remember #$%@) I am not sure if I've talked about this stuff before or not, but I am in love with this hair serum and have used it for a few months now.  If you ever go to malls like I do (I love malls- my friends make fun of me for going to the mall so much ... hello! mall pretzel, forever 21, plus I get my eyebrows threaded there) you know all too well the people who harass you to straighten your hair.  They always try to lure you in with the question, "Miss- may I ask you a question?".  I usually avoid eye contact (LOOK AWAY) because that is the best way to ignore them, but one day I happened to glance their way and got suckered into taking a sample of their hair serum.  I laughed it off and almost threw the sample away in the trash can but decided I would try to use it to see what all of the fuss was about.  I used it on my hair and was blown away by how much I liked it.  I thought to myself, "OMG YOU IDIOT YOU LIKE ONE OF THE MALL KIOSK HAIR SERUMS. YOU FELL FOR THEIR PLOY!!!!".  Then I decided to check Amazon and low and behold, it's on there for only 7 dollars.  Long story short, buy this and give it a try- it's seriously my favorite hair serum ever.   Here is the Amazon Link for the HerStyler Serum

I found a new fragrance after a recent Sephora visit that I liked so much that I had to go back and purchase it! If you like clean smells, you need to check out the Clean Reserve line.  My favorite scent from the line is Blonde Rose, but I have samples for the whole line and they all smell sooooo good.

Stay tuned for more beauty posts as I have a lot of items that I want to share!

You have the best beauty posts! I feel like I want to throw everything out and start fresh this time of year. I love the drybar triple sec because the smell is amazing...but my hair is super dry... My stylist says the aveda shampure is awesome but it's a powder and I haven't tried yet because I'm lazy and like a spray.
