TGIF

Here's a fun little video about fall trends, what I do to work out, and some travel destinations for next summer.  In this video I talk about the weird trench of ballet flats with ribbons and these are the shoes that I am referencing by Miu Miu ... I'm not a fan as of right now.  Maybe they'll grow on me? PS- Here is my post about my obsession with Pure Barre clothes.

Not a fan of the shoes. The ribbon isn't so bad, but I don't like the buckle around the middle at all! I've always wanted to try a Barre class, but our smallish city doesn't have it. I like good old fashioned yoga for working out, and there is a hot yoga studio here I would like to try. I vote for England, although I have no advice for convincing Rob! :-) I have never been to Europe, and England is where I want to visit first.

Love your vlogs! So many good make up/shopping tips!

@Rebecca I did yoga for a long time too when Rob's sister had a studio, but I swapped once she moved businesses. I will let him know +1 for England. Thanks!

@Sharona I am glad you are liking the vlogs!

my husband is from england and we go back once or twice a year, and also try to throw in a city break to another country while we're over there since travel is so cheap within the EU. we stay around southeast england though, we don't get up north towards manchester. are you trying to do just london or anywhere else in the UK?

I think I would want to do London, a city in Scotland, and Dublin. I just really love that part of the world.

i love when we take a day trip into london and just wander around. it's a lot of fun walking around mayfair and chelsea, all the houses are so pretty, and the high-end store displays and fancy cars are the best eye candy! it's impossible to drive around though, so i would recommend using the tube-it's fun-or if you're staying outside of london, just take the train into the city. i can't speak to scotland as i've never been there, but we went to cork, which is in southern ireland, and it was another great town to walk around-very windy though.

@Lizzie That is really neat. Rob and I both loved walking around Paris and Amsterdam. I think we averaged 6-8 miles a day according to my iwatch. Thank you much for the insight. :)

A little behind catching up on your videos! Love that you are "blogging" or should I say vlogging. Scotland and Ireland is on our list for next year. I have been to England several times, love the green and the overall atmosphere. There is something very charming in the English cottages and countryside. With that being said, Tuscany is second on my list (I don't feel adventurous enough to venture outside of Europe.)
This new ballet flats style is a no for me. I don't get the mismatched and the ribbon. It doesn't look like it will be flattering on everyone. But I do love the new ankle-tie shoe trend!
You mention at the beginning of your video jackets. Please do blog about jackets soon. We are anticipating a move to TN (from freezing Chicago) and I am a huge jacket fan (my husband thinks I have way too many jackets, and I still buy them all the time - jackets, vests, coats, you name it.

@chicitygal I am glad you are coming along for my vlogging. I want to see the cottages and countryside in England. I really love it. Ronnie wants to see all of Italy as Tuscany is top on his list.

I bought a J. Crew Trench Coat this weekend that I put in today's post. Let me know what you think.

@pretty in pink I love the J Crew trench - this darker color is much more flattering and fun than the typical khaki/beige trench color. I initially thought it was one of the newer Burberry trenches. And your combo with the animal print dress was amazing! I have been eyeing that dress but not sure if it would be too much for meetings with clients (the only time I have to dress up for work.)

@chicitygal I wore the dress to work, and people complimented me on it. As long as you pair it with neutral accessories, it's not too wild. I really want a Burberry trench coat, but I like the darker color especially for fall.
