I purchased this Fighting Eel jumpsuit a while back:
And styled it myself to wear:
Here are my observations about the jumpsuit:
1) Not everyone can wear it. I realize this is a funny looking contraption. Put it on the wrong body-type and this could be a disaster. I am fairly small and petite and it even made ME look bigger than I really am.
2) Flat shoes go well with the jumpsuit. You could also wear heels. It's very versatile with what shoes you can wear with it.
3) It was extremely comfortable- basically like wearing pajamas all day!
So, there ya have it! Feel free to take the plunge if you haven't already this season.

I tried a jumpsuit at Gap last weekend. It was a definite failure for me. You are so right about the body type comment. Oh well :(

Yeah, there's no way I could wear that. Way too pear shaped! But, it looks great on you. Pretty sure being thin and petite (i.e. being able to wear tons of trends) was tough during your no shopping ban...

Wow, good job "jumping" right in and trying this trend! I do like how it creates an elongated line. I wonder if you've tried it with perhaps a wide belt in a contrasting color? to cinch it in a bit at the waist/hip? I'm just getting into the romper trend haha!
