In the midst of my storm anxiety last night, I wound up making these energy bites that I have seen on Pinterest and Designer Diapers blog. The recipe comes from this blog.

They are so good! I added Chia seeds to mine for added nutrition. I didn't take any pictures of the finished product because you all need to visit the website where the recipe originated for pretty pictures.
I have heard great things about chia seeds for nutrition. My friend Dishy Decorator loves chia seeds! You can read more info here. I actually make that chia seed pudding last night.

I love that you wore a helmet! We live north of your area & I'm soooo afraid of tornadoes (I'm from California!)...you CAN be stylish & wear a tornado helmet! :)

So glad you made the balls and liked them! I'll have to add chia seeds next time! Oh and I'm terrified of tornadoes I have a full on anxiety attack whenever there's a warning!

have you seen the previews for the tv show "doomsday preppers" on nat geo? Because I get really bad anxiety over disasters (and obvi you do too) and I can't wait for it to air! It looks really good!
