Kate Hudson was my favorite Golden Globe look last night wearing McQueen. She was stunning and that dress matched her eclectic personality spot on.
I would have to say that worst-dressed goes to Halle Berry. Girl, you are in your mid-late 40's. She has a bangin' bod, but a big no to that dress. Plus all of her drama with her ex fiance and child just really paints a bad picture of her in my mind. I think she's a little crazy.
Watching the Globes coverage in HD was interesting because you really got to see who had great skin and who didn't. Per usual, Nicole Kidman was a porcelain goddess. Her skin is amazing and translucent. She may have had too much of the 'tox, but her skin color is truly beautiful.
Seeing Nicole Kidman's skin got me thinking about porcelain skin and how to achieve it. I love the look of super pale skin. I immediately dug out my IS Clinical White Lightening and put on a layer. I don't want to go to any extremes such as using Hydroquinone or skin bleaching agents, but the IS Clinical stuff gives just the right amount of paleness.
I tweeted this past weekend that every foundation that I owned was too dark for me and that I needed to find a white shade. I found this video by Lisa Eldridge that highlights some good foundations for pale gals.
Thinking of trying this one that she recommended: Tom Ford Traceless in Alabaster
Has anyone tried this?
I am having a major pointed toe stiletto moment. Not that I am buying any or anything, I am just lusting after them. Every time I buy a pair of pointy toe stilettos I swear that I will never buy another pair again. They look so pretty, but they hurt like none other.
I am dying at all of these pictures of the Jimmy Choo Anouk Pump.

Isn't it the prettiest shoe ever? It looks uncomfortable though, right?

I am bonkers over all those colors...even though I never wear heels!
I literally (outloud) just said "owwwwww" when I saw that shoe. Pretty? Yes. Painful? 10000%
Jimmy Choo is so hot right now and those neon pumps are my fav. But yeah no pointy shoes on these feet.
I'm thinking about trying the Tom Ford too but I feel like I buy too many expensive foundations that don't work! I get tired of mixing with white everyday.
I never stopped loving the super pointy toes and Halle Berry definitely seems like she has gone on the crazy train these days!
i love bobbi brown foundation stick. her colors go from very pale to deep and they don't have the pink undertone that can make you look sickly. i am very fair, always avoid the sun and her 01 warm ivory matches perfectly.
Love those shoes. :) Kate Hudson was also my fav!
Gorgeous shoe but you're right, it does look uncomfortable.
the shoes look amazing but that pitch! owwww. i agree with your comment on halle berry. she's gorgeous, but looks like she's trying too hard.
i cant wear pointy heels anymore but those sure look pretty!
Kate Hudson was one of my favorites as well. She sometimes reminds me SO MUCH of her mom!
