I started the typical spring cleaning this past week. I organized my perfumes, jewelry, put some old scarf boxes to decorative use, and switched out my closets.
I took 5!!! hanging bags of winter clothes to the attic and only brought down 2 bags of summer clothes. I need to get with it on getting some new summer basics because I really don't have all that many.
Super-bad picture, but this is what I wore yesterday to meet some people.
The J.Crew Teddie is a great basic dress to wear and comes in so many colors. This is the red color from the fall and I am wearing it with a navy H&M blazer with LR boots. I was in the midst of the great closet clean out, hence the mess.
Speaking of basic dresses- I've been on the hunt lately since realizing that I wear my J.Crew Muse dress too much.
Here are some good basic dresses that I've seen online, but haven't ordered. If any of you all have any of these dresses let me know.
The thing I love about basic dresses is the ability to dress them up or down and add on fun accessories like a printed scarf or a statement necklace.

i saw that sweatshirt dress a while back on joannagoddard.blogspot and i love it but i'm weird about short sleeves on dresses. if they made a sleeveless version i'd be all over that dress!
