PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: This & That

This & That

I decided to try out Frownies and I really like them!  A frownie is basically like a stick on piece of thick paper that prevents your face from moving in a certain area.  I used one on my forehead area that seems to want to form a scowl line.  I left it on all day and slept in it and it was amazing how I didn't move that area at all.  I will do a video soon of how to apply them and how easy they are to use.

Yesterday I wore this See by Chloe dress that I got on sale at Neiman Marcus.  I wore it with Oscar de la Renta earrings that were also on sale.
This weekend I decided that I wanted to go to Walgreen's and get new shampoo and conditioner that was cheap but effective.  I've spent a lot of money in the past on stupid expensive shampoos and conditioners that just didn't work or left my hair tangly.  I ended up getting this Neutrogena Anti-Residue shampoo and this Triple Moisture Conditioner and I really like them both!  The shampoo made my hair feel so clean and the conditioner made it really soft and smooth on the ends.

Remember my post on Las Vegas a couple of months ago?  Ironically, I posted that before I got my new job and I guess wishes do come true because I'm going to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks for a beauty conference.  I will have limited time to tour around and shop, but if you had only 3 nights there and your days were full, where would you shop and eat?  Are the outlets worth trekking out to one afternoon?  I have no idea what to pack either.  I looked at the weather and it looks like it's above 100 every day.

Vegas heat is really like no other, and the casinos make up for it by blasting the AC. So I would pack dresses and a wrap that you can store in your bag when walking outside (and you will do a LOT of walking outside). If you have a cute and comfortable pair of shoes, wear those all the time, if not then bring a pair of flats to wear while walking. And, I can't stress this enough, drink a LOT of water. I usually stop by Walgreens on the Strip and pick up a case of bottled water (two bottles for each day) and keep them in my hotel room/toss one in my bag. Cost-effective and will keep you going when the desert heat dries you out.

Use the neutrogena clean shampoo sparingly. I only use it once a week or every other week. I call it my "sunday shampoo." I started using it about 9-10 years ago and my then-hairstylist said to only use it on roots since it is so strong to clean. Don't want it to ruin your hair color!

I live for that anti-residue shampoo. It is one of the products I've used the longest and most consistently. There is no cleaner feeling!

You really need to try WEN cleansing conditioner! It's the best! You won't go back to regular shampoo and conditioner once you try it. My hair has never been healthier or more manageable. You can order it from qvc or amazon!!
