First of all, I spy a chanel box! uh oh! Do any of my ATL readers know Glenn at the Saks ladies shoe salon? He is great! I called the DAY the shoes came in at Saks. Glenn hooked a sister up :)
Second, I added a new playlist to my blog. It is inspired from my time abroad in Paris. I miss Paris a lot and can't wait to go back! Check out some of the songs. They are really cool and different. I am really into "different" music. I love world music and electronic and trance (crazy!).
Third, we were supposed to be in Shreveport this weekend for an engagement party, but with the hurricane we didn't think it would be such a good idea to travel. Rob and I decided to check out the Cooper-Young festival here in Memphis (midtown, specifically).
It was such a nice day and the booths were so cool. I swear there was a booth for everything. We even had a nutella and banana crepe which reminded me of the little crepe booth by the Fountain St. Michel in the 11th arrondisement of Paris. Please pardon the mullet bangs ... it was windy!
There was even a booth for handmade dog clothes ... so you know we had to get Miss P a new outfit (or three!)... she even got a barette that reads "mini diva". She also got an Alabama (Roll Tide) sweat shirt for game days.
Fourth, we get our rescue dog next Sunday! We are so excited! We went ahead and got Apple some new outfits as well. Here is a picture of Apple in her foster home in Mississippi. We can't wait for her to be with us!

Banana and nutella crepes sounds delicious! I love to make crepes at home, but I never think to do it.
I hope you had a nice weekend!
Love the new bangs! Very chic. Sounds like you had a great weekend :)
You look so cute! Love the bangs!
So fun to hear a/b the Cooper-Young fest. We always went when we lived in Memphis.
ahh nutella...crepes....you make ME miss Paris too!!
So happy to see you're an Obama supporter!
Those Chanel pumps are seriously TDF!
Nutella and banana crepes comprise the #1 reason on my list why I must return to Paris.
And, congrats on getting a rescue dog. I'm fostering one now, and it is such a rewarding, fun experience.
Oh Miss PIPM, the bespoke apparel for Miss P is just too cute, and altogether perfect for her!
Might we say the Chanel shoes must look divine on you?!
Great post, and don't even think about the bangs - when it's windy it's hopeless, at least it is for us!
Grins & Giggles,
