PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: Face Care

Face Care

Okay, so I've tried everything on my face. From La Mer, Orlane, Trish, Shu Uemura, to Cetaphil. I have yet to find something that I feel really works like it says.

I was not impressed with La Mer, plus it's a little too pricey at 300 dollars a bottle. Orlane is good, but I've been using this for nearly 2 years with little results. Recently, my friend at the Joseph make-up counter gave me Shu Uemura Black Phyto-lift samples and I love it, but before I fork out hundreds for a new face care system I wanted to see what you all use and if you have results? I have also tried the Trish McEvoy serums and lotions and I seem to like those as well.

I am not looking for a miracle cream. I understand that I am 24 and don't need serious wrinkle creme yet, but I feel the more preventative I can be, the better. I have not taken the best precautions in the past with sun care and I am afraid I will be one of those women who have wrinkle problems. I am already starting to notice smile lines and crows feet. I am looking for a complete face care system including face wash, toner, serum, eye and face creme, etc. I go big or go home.

I use Murad products. You can order online or they see at Sephora. Excellent products at decent prices.

Regular microdermabrasion keeps the lines at bay.

I use Arbonne and I LOVE it. I am 29 and I swear I started to see wrinkles starting at 27. They have a whole skincare line and I use all of it. My face is not as dry and breaks out less. You have to buy it from someone or online. It is reasonable. It lasts a long time also. I am all about prevention also!

Yup, I sold Arbonne for a little while and swear by their products. Their anti-aging is amazing! I also use Murad! Every MD and I know and facialist swears by it!

You should check out Garden Girl Skin Care. Their products are not made with parabens or unnecessary chemicals which is great. Plus they are natural, but the you would never guess from looking at the packaging, it is so fun and girly! I love the scents and feel good putting it on my skin. They are very helpful if you have any skin questions as well. Check them out at http://www.gardengirlskincare.com. Good luck!

Hey Megan!

I was just reading your blog for the first time and it's fabulous!

you might not remember me but we were abroad in Paris together and I had to leave early because my parents were in London during the bombing. I hope all is well and congrats on your engagement! Your ring is breath taking!

Anyways, I have a fabulous skin product for you its prescription and its called tazorac. What it does is it prevents pimples but the best part is if you start using it now it will reduce chances of wrinkles by sooooo much. You should ask your doc about it. It's great!

Take care!!!!
