I initially decided on "livia" mixed with some "golden edge" pieces. Livia is a relatively new seller for Herend and I am worried it won't be easy for people to get ... even Babcock's here in Memphis said they don't keep a stock of it. I am wondering, should I go with something more well-known such as the Herend "Queen Victoria" pattern so that it's easily accessible for people -- don't get me wrong, I like it just as well as "Livia".
I went with La Maison's "Ondine" for my stemware and Gorham's "Melrose" for my silver.
Here is my formal place setting with the "Livia" pieces(several pieces weren't available):

I love mixing patterns...the liva & gold edge look beautiful together!
so excited you chose herend! my fav. though I have never been married, it seems like it shouldn't matter so much what is in stock because you have to switch it all back to get what you need, etc. so even if other places don't have it, you can just get all your silver at those places you are registered for and plan on using all your store credit at one place for them to order the livia. never seen livia, but it is so pretty!
So pretty! The mixed patterns is creative and gives it a personalized look!
So pretty. You can't go wrong with Herend.
Personally, I love the Livia:) I think it would be worth the wait!

My pattern is the Golden Edge with the Queen Victoria accents. I put a pic on my blog. I love mixing the two. I decided to go with the blue but may add some of the green as well.
