Okay, so I know you all will be astonished, but I watched Nip/Tuck for the very first time this weekend and let's just say ... I'M ADDICTED. I finished the first season last night and will probably finish the second tonight.
First of all, I am a sucker for any TV show that takes place in Miami. My love for Florida is what prompted me to move there. Second of all, I love that the show deals with a plastic surgeon's office! I was so surprised when Rob told me that Nip/Tuck is on FX ... I was sure it was on showtime or HBO with all of the risque scenes and such. Yikes!
I have talked to some people who have said that the show gets really weird and bizarre as the seasons go on ... is this true?

after the first two seasons it gets reallllly weird.
Yeah it gets weird. I would always watch an episode, it would it end up being so freaky that I would swear I would never watch this show again and then a month later I would be addicted again.
I've never seen it...I'll have to check it out.
I don't watch any more due to being SO WEIRD AND F'D UP.
I am surprised there are not aliens or something at this point.
I agree with G.R.I.T.S, after the first 2 seasons is when the extremely strange things begin to happen...
I'm with everyone else... season three and four are SO WEIRD... I've pretty much stopped watching at this point too. Our precious Matt takes quite the downfall which is just completely unbelievable and would almost NEVER happen in real life.
i loved the first season...second season pretty good...after that it got too disturbing for me!
It does get weird but I am still hooked...
Ahhh! I was a Nip/Tuck fanatic staying up VERY LATE the first 2 seasons to watch every episode! (And I generally hate TV.) Then, yes, it started becoming REALLY weird/gross/freaky. So much so that my husband would become disgusted if it was on and he would get up and leave the room! I stopped watching it, but that Christian is hot is he not?!
Yes! It's kind of unbelievable just how shocking it is. It's addictive because this is no Days of Our Lives...whatever happens, you never, ever see it coming.
