I just wanted to share a sweet picture of Apple and Georgina laying on the back of the couch. We didn't even put them this way. I just walked in and they were chillin' like this:
Do any of you once wed girls out there have any advice or tips for the few weeks leading up to your wedding. We have three weeks to go and I am getting really nervous/anxious. There is really nothing left for me to do, but I constantly feel like I am missing something. I am starting to think I'm going to need some anxiety meds before I drive myself crazy!

Drink. No just kidding...kinda. I lost 8lbs the week of my wedding (I already wear a size 2, so it was pretty drastic) because I was so stressed!! I really do not advise that. Just enjoy it, the day of you won't care if the details are taken care of. Have fun!! Try to schedule a mani/pedi or just a girls night to get away from it!
For me what drove me crazy in the last few days were all the really random things that I had to do. I had a list of all this crazy stuff that I could have done earlier but just didn't because I thought it was so small. Well, all those small things add up to running around town all day!
If I had gotten things like embroidery, printing the programs, buying a frame for our photo at the church, etc. etc. done earlier then the little things that unexpectedly came up wouldn't have made me want to scream!-
That dog pic is too cute! They were just begging for you to capture that moment.
The doggies are too cute!
My only advice is to try to relax and enjoy the whole event! Don't worry about all of the little details because nobody will notice them but you. I was so hyped up at my wedding(s) (hee hee) I hardly ate or drank anything and it was all a blur!
Your dogs are adorable! Enjoy your wedding...it sound's amazing! Relax and have fun!
Haha that picture is so cute!
I'm sure you will feel like that for the next 3 weeks, but relax and enjoy! It's your day, and over analyzing anything never helps!!!!
BTW--I tagged you on my blog.
(Sorry!) :-)
I don't have any advice, since I still have 4 months to go myself. Just relax...everything will come together and it will be the best day ever!
And drink lots of wine over the next few weeks!!! that always helps!
you're dogs are so cute! just try to relax and enjoy this wonderful time in your life. call friends and go out for some lunch dates. get a massage. get a mani/pedi. drink some wine. have you shopped for any cute outfits for the honeymoon? write a letter to yourself that you can read on your 1yr anniversary, write a letter for your hubby-to-be to read while he's waiting for the ceremony to begin and just remember if something doesn't go as planned on the big day, don't fret over it, just laugh, smile and enjoy your fabulous day!
by the way, have you gone to keeneland this meet? i'm going next weekend and can't wait!
Aww, cute puppies!! =)
..Nevr been married, but a spa day wouldnt hurt!!
Cute puppies!
I can't give an input on the wed part.. but I can say that photo of your dogs is sooo cute :)
How about you give ME advice when it's all over?! HAHA! I have four months to go- WHEW!! the only advice I can give that helps me in EVERYTHING i do (including my job, where I do a lot of event planning) is make lists, lists, lists!!! Pretend it is your wedding day and imagine everything you want to happen, everything you want to see, everything you want to go right, and WRITE it down and check it off if you are sure it has already been taken care of. I look forward to reading your blog!! I live just up the road from Memphis!
The best thing to do is TRY and relax. Maybe do some Honeymoon shopping, deep condition your hair...whatever...just relax and enjoy this time! The wedding tends to go by so fast, just relax and enjoy every moment you can, even those leading up to it :)
Congrats on your upcoming marriage! Just try to enjoy yourself and pamper yourself a little bit...spend time with your family and relax!
I have the anxiety too and I'm like 10 weeks away from my wedding - if you get the secret, do share!
Won't be long now! I can't wait to hear/see all about it - you'll be a lovely bride! Best of luck to you & your beau!
What cute furbabies! Good luck with everything... wish I could offer some advice :-/
I am a list maker, so I made a list of everything I needed to do before the big day. It helps because when you cross things off you know you are making some head way. Make sure your wedding director has checked on schedules and arrangements with your florists, band, limo, photographer and etc. I sat down with my photographer and told him things I really wanted to make sure he got. Also I packed for the honeymoon days in advance! Try to relax because even if something small does go wrong it won't matter on your big day. They gave us the wrong limo, and at first I was disappointed but didn't care as long as it took us to the reception. Good luck with your plans! You will make a beautiful bride!
