PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: False Eyelash HOW-TO Vlog

False Eyelash HOW-TO Vlog

This is the picture I tweeted this past weekend that prompted this VLOG:
{Yes, Latisse works, but not THIS well, it's falsie time}

You all know my obsession with eyelashes and mascara. I've always had long ones, but I am obsessed with making them longer. I've used Latisse for over a year now, but sometimes you really want the added dramatic look for a night on the town or a big event. Falsies are the way to go!

I tried false eyelashes for the first time this past week and I'm now obsessed. I decided to do a vlog to explain and answer some of your all's questions. Please excuse the general jankness of this vlog- I am getting a cold and have no make-up on, but I really wanted to give you all something to compare the false eyelashes to, hence leaving one eye with nothing on.

Have you all tried them?

I love false lashes! I don't wear them too often, but plan on wearing them for our wedding day.

Great Tutorial...thanks!!! I love false eyelashes. Have you tried eyelash extensions? They are amazing for thickening and lengthening your lashes...you don't even have to wear mascara!!

Nice!! By the way, I noticed the intro music to The Real Housewives on Bravo playing in the background of the video. Isn't that pathetic? Maybe I need to get out more. Ha! :)

I wear false eyelashes a lot. In fact, one of the ladies here asked if that was a Southern thing? ha ha. I'll be sporting mine in the big T!

Love it. I also have fairly long eyelashes so I haven't tried them but you've convinced me bc they look so natural. Dumb question, do you just rip them off to remove?!

cherish- yep, they come off so easily ... they just peel off!

What is this powder and water eyeliner?? Where do I get THAT? Sephora? As soon as I get out of this bed I am headed to try fake lashes! Thanks for posting!

Loved your vlog! You really are cute as can be. I'll def try out the strip falsies...I've only ever used the individual lashes. And I use black eyeshadow/water to line my eyes everyday...how do you use the Trish McEvoy product you mentioned? Just use that instead of water? I'm always looking for a better way!

hi miss e- yep, you just drop a bit on the shadow and it works better than water. makes it stay on longer!

"general jankness" hahahaha.

I have the individual lashes from sephora (and HAVE had them for about 6 months), but they just seem impossible. they don't stay on and they're a pain in the A to get symmetrical, etc... meanwhile, I picked up some andrea ones from walgreens and bookmarked your vid. thanks, doll ;)
