PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: New Hair

New Hair

I went in today for a trim and a partial highlight. I just felt that my hair was getting too dull and I needed to spice it up a bit. I had my stylist, April at PageBoy Salon, add in a few partial highlights on top.

Some Glamour Shots (you get the idea):

You all cracked me up last week with the long hair comments. I've been wearing clip-in extensions lately (aka MAH WEAVE). They aren't much longer than my real hair, but they add a lot of volume and some length. I will do a vlog on them next week.

She also taught me how to get the "hollywood loose curls" by using a clipless curling iron.

I promptly came home and ordered the Enzo Milano 25mm clipless iron from Amazon.

I stumbled upon this YouTube video of how I want to start styling my hair (with my weave, of course).

Do any of you all use a clipless curling iron?

Your hair looks great! I use a traditional curling iron semi-frequently, but have been flirting with the idea of a new clipless one. Can't wait to see the vlog!

Love the new 'do! I've been a clipless convert for 6 months or so... It is SO easy and the curls always turn out SO well!

i love curls from a clipless curling iron! they give such a gorgeous, soft and natural wave! and i've heard great things about the EM one! (i just use my regular curling iron as a clipless one.) I actually did a tutorial curling my hair cliplessly with a regular curling iron. if you're interested, of course. (: love your new hair do!

Looks great girl! My sister brought a clipless curling iron with her when she came home for Thanksgiving. I bought one like hers. Funny thing....she showed me that exact Youtube video!

I use Sultra's "bombshell" rod iron and absolutely love it!

They call them curling wands here... regular curling irons here are called tongs... how funny right? Anyway, I haven't gotten one yet, but they are everywhere so I imagine they're quite popular.

Pretty...I like your new highlights...and cut! I have a clipless curling iron that I use almost everyday...from HAI Elite. I really love it...it makes styling hair so easy and the curls last and last...

The highlights look great! I bought a clipless iron a few months ago and it works really well on my long fine hair and holds the curl really well. The EM one is supposed to be the best!

Oh can't wait for the blog on your 'weave'! I've been dying to try one to give my hair some volume; looking forward to seeing what you use!

I use a regular curling iron, but just ignore the clip. Works basically the same. I love doing my hair like this. My hair holds this curl so much better than other methods.

I bought one 3 years ago for my wedding after I had someone curl mine to show how it works. I went out for a run that night and after I pulled my hair down it was still curled! It's awesome and great for super curls or loose curls. I <3 mine!!
