PIPM: Pretty in Pink Megan: New Post, No Title

New Post, No Title

I found a sun shade for my car window at Wal-Mart.  What is more American than going to Wal-Mart on the 4th of July, right? LOL.  Now all that I need is the full face sun visor and I will be all set.

It was seriously so hot here on the 4th of July.  We had a neighborhood parade and cookout and of course every outfit I had envisioned in my head ended up not looking right.  I find that happens more often than not lately.  I am having one of those "I hate all of my clothes" moments.

Okay, does anyone use a dermaroller?  I have done some brief research on this method and it seems like everyone loves it and sees great results.

The basic idea of dermarolling is really an archaic one- you make small abrasions on the face and it builds up collagen.  The puncture wounds aren't big, so it's not like you are walking around with scabs on your face.  Some people do use the dermaroller more aggressively, but you can also just use it lightly, but more often to still build collagen.

Does anyone use this?  I am thinking of ordering one on Amazon.

I would suggest ordering from a reputable company like rodan and fields so you know you are getting a medical grade product. I do not personally use this product but my friend is a R & F rep and I have been considering trying it.

I have heard the one for Rodan + Fields is amazing. Check it out at my friend's site, https://lindaray.myrandf.com/

Let me know if you get it and love it. I'm on the fence!

I watched the youtube videos you posted on Twitter about this last night. That lady was kind of terrifying and made this seem scary but I think it's sort of fascinating too! I really do wonder how much your face hurts after though and if you look scary!

I have never heard of that - it sounds kind of crazy, but if you try it and like it, I want to know! :-)

I'm a Rodan and Fields consultant and we have a roller similar to that. Ours is used along with anti aging skin and lip capsules and the results are amazing (the needles on ours don't look to be quite as big as the ones in the pics). The roller is unavailable right now, but will be back before the end of the year hopefully. They're having some additional, voluntary testing done by the FDA.

I know from reading your blog that you're a skincare junkie like me, and I couldn't love R+F more.

caseystokes.myrandf.com is my website. Take a look around and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have!

I've started with a .2 roller I got on amazon. It hurts a bit but bearable. Concept makes sense. I may buy one with larger needles after I get used to this one. I have great skin already but am 35 and the fine laugh lines are starting.
