Carven Dress + Seven Magic Mountains

If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas in the near future you must make the 15 minute trek to Seven Magic Mountains which is right outside of Las Vegas.  

When I started noticing pictures online of these neon rock formations in the middle of the desert I thought, "wow, that's cool- I'd love to see that".  But honestly, I didn't know that the "neon rocks" were so close to Las Vegas.  We had already planned to go back to the Grand Canyon area in Arizona, so I didn't want to plan too many road trips.  A quick google search showed me that Seven Magic Mountains was only about 10 miles south of Las Vegas, so we hopped in our rental car and headed that way!  It's crazy because you get off the highway and drive on this desolate two lane road into the middle of the desert and then all the sudden there are the neon rocks! 

I won't lie, I kind of felt like Carrie Bradshaw in the SATC episode where her and Charlotte go see the art exhibit of the lady in the clear box that doesn't eat or speak.  Charlotte is all into the "art" of it while Carrie is like, "alright, what are we supposed to do now ...".  After walking around the rocks and taking a few pics (it was SO windy), we hopped back in the car and headed back to the city.
