Since Memorial Day is Monday I thought it would be fun to do a summer must-haves list!
1. The Maxi Dress- this one is a cotton one by splendid, but any cotton maxi dress will do. I wear these all summer long and it's like wearing pajamas to work!
2. Sunscreen- this is vital if you don't want to get freckles, sunspots, or hyper-pigmentation on your face. This sunscreen by Supergoop not only has an SPF, but also antioxidants for aging and wrinkles!
3. White Jeans- these by old navy are cheap but cute. I have some in the colored denim and I will be going to purchase these at Old Navy this weekend. If you know your size you can get 15% off online this weekend only!
4. Colorful Summer Handbag- this is the Lady Dior by Christian Dior, but any fun bright bag will do!
5. Printed Dress- I love this one by Mara Hoffman. You can dress this up or down by pairing with flat sandals or more dressy pumps for night time.
6. Wedges- Every girl needs a good pair of wedge sandals for summer. These by Steve Madden are both affordable and cute!
7. Chambray Shirt- so this got totally worn out last summer, but I still love mine and wear it all the time. I think it will still be good to go this summer, people just might be sick of it ;)
8. Basic Skirt- I have really gotten into skirts lately because of how easy they are to throw on with a fitted t-shirt. This one by Tibi is a basic color so it could be worn with many tops!
9. Statement Necklace- you need at least one statement necklace for your summer wardrobe. I want this new arrival from J.Crew very bad!
10. Summer Bootie- you all know I love booties and I will definitely be wearing mine well into the summer months. I love this Rag & Bone option because it's canvas and much more of a breathable material than a leather or suede.
What about you all- what are your summer staples?

I really like those booties! I wore the heck out of my chambray shirt last summer but plan on wearing it again this year too. I think they are great especially with colored shorts on a cooler evening.
I finally got a maxi dress for this year too. I love it because it's so comfortable! My mom seems to think it's really unflattering on me though so now I'm hesitant to wear it. :(
MUST find those Steve Madden wedges - love that they're neutral!
I'm Team Maxi as well. Old Navy has some really great basics on the cheap and I found a pretty colorblocked Calvin Klein at Marshall's near my work.
