Gotta Love Target ...
This is hilarious to some, but I have no shame in telling everyone that Rob and I got our engagement photo taken at the Target portrait studio last week. With how expensive wedding costs can be, this is one area that both of us agreed we didn't care a lot about. The picture is going to be used ONE time, for the newspaper announcement. We really didn't want a photo session where we had several hundred photos taken of us. Plus we just couldn't justify the cost of a full engagement photo session; we want to focus on other areas of our wedding. So, last Wednesday we dressed up and went to Super-Target to have our portrait made. And let me tell you-- it was COMPLETELY FREE. We paid absolutely nothing to get our portrait emailed to us, which I am now going to email to the newspaper. All in all it was a win-win situation. Which picture is your favorite? They would be in black and white of course, for the newspaper.

Good call! We won't even be using ours for the paper so we wouldn't have gotten them at all, but they were included in our wedding photos. I like the first one the best!

I DEFINETLY like #1!! So cute! I totally agree with the whole "engagement photos" thing.
The ONE thing I wish I would have spent the most money on was a good photographer for our wedding. We skimped and got an amatuer - NOT a good idea. Photos are all you have after the wedding! So good job on saving the $$$.
I like 2 or 3. No shame in Target or in FREE! Thats exciting! You look great in all of them.

We had some made and then got lazy and didn't even put the announcement in the paper! haha Luckily we got ours for cheap since it was a friend. Why did I not know that target had a photo studio? I have never seen one in lex?
Anyways, I like all but simply because you have the ring finger proudly displayed in the first shot, I'm gonna go with it! It's the perfect engagement picture!
i like that the ring is displayed in #1 but I think I really like #3 the best. But they are all good! Haha ok clearly im no help :)

1 even though Rob looks like he's giving himself a headache by looking out of the corner of his eye...you won't be able to tell in the newspaper. 2 is a total prom pose. 3 is really cute but who knows how small they'll make the picture in the paper and you might not be able to see the two of you very well.
What kind of personality does Rob have? He looks like a quiet guy...but I doubt he is because I can't imagine you with someone who's really quiet.

What a great idea! I think it is very smart. You will be spending a lot of money on your wedding photos, so those will be the ones that you frame and look at forever. :)
