I went to Dallas a couple of weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to posting a blog update about my trip! First of all, let me say that I loved Dallas and would move there in a heartbeat. I feel like I could basically pitch a tent in Northpark Mall and live there. I went with my longtime internet friend, Shasta, and my friend from Memphis (who lives in NYC), Kyle. Kyle was going for work and needed some company, so I gladly volunteered myself and Shasta.

I got THE CUTEST wedges at the Saks Off Fifth outlet ... they're Saks Fifth Avenue brand and were $59.99.
I pretty much wore this J.Crew denim jacket all weekend. I got the size Medium so it would be more oversized. It's seriously the best jacket ever- super soft and comfortable.

We got our hair blown out at Blo Blowdry Bar - it was a fun experience but my hair was so sticky for days! I don't use hairspray ever so I'm sure the hairspray they used made my hair feel sticky.
Nothing haunts you like the things you didn't buy! I tried on this pom pom scarf at Calypso and haven't stopped thinking about it!
PS- I am wearing the new Tory Burch Chandler sandals (purchased during the TB promo) in this picture and they are the perfect flat sandal for summer.
Also got the Tory Burch Raleigh heel on promo and it is the perfect work shoe. The heel is just the right size and they are comfortable enough to walk around in all day. I wore them all day and threw them on with jeans and a chambray top for a dinner with my JL committee.
I am the world's worst packer and of course I forgot a good hair conditioner which is crucial when you have tangly hair like me. I picked up this little sample of conditioner and fell in love with it! The smell is amazing and it makes my hair so manageable and soft.

Do you feel the foundation is moisturizing? I have such dry skin so everything cakes on but am in need of a light airy foundation for Spring\Summer. Thanks!
I feel the same about hairspray--I hate it! Which leads me to pretty much always hate when I get my hair styled at the salon. Looks like a great trip!

I love baby powder for dry shampoo! B&B pret a powder works similarly for me but without the baby powder smell.
